A colony game in your browser

Planet Workers

Found a town on a small round world. Your villagers run themselves: they fetch water, pick berries, chop wood, build and learn. You are the mayor. Grow from the Stone Age to the stars, then take your people across the galaxy.

No download, no account. The game saves itself in your browser.

Nightfall. Street lamps and windows light up as the sun sets on the town.

What it is

Villagers who run themselves

Each one picks the most useful job, gets better at it, and looks after their own thirst, hunger and sleep. You build, set targets and decide what comes first.

Six ages

From huts and a campfire to brickworks, steelworks and domed cities: research, workshops, roads, power and harbours.

A year to get through

Fields need farmers and winter needs full stores. Weather turns, and beasts come out of their dens at night.

Then the stars

Colonies, trade and alliances with other peoples, fleets and space battles, and in the end the Ascension Gate.
